AOL Mail improves upon Yahoos filter with the option to have an alert sent to your cellphone or AOL Instant Messenger account. Gmail provides the most complex filter, which allows you to sort messages according to sender, recipient, subject, body text, file size and if theres an attachment. In addition to applying the label of your choice, the filter can be set to delete the message, forward it, archive it, mark it as read or star it.
